Belka Games is a game development company. According to Sensor Tower, the company is among the top 30 highest-grossing game developers in Europe, and its audience has recently surpassed 110 million players.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Narrative Designer to help shape the world of Clockmaker - from stories, characters, and lore to scripts and in-game moments players will remember.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating games' entire narratives: thinking through the visual, pitch, presentation, lore, characters, and all other possible game aspects
- Writing and editing scripts
- Maintaining consistency between the games' stories and their mechanics
- Communicating the vision to colleagues—with the ability and desire to reach a compromise
- Searching, tracking, and implementing the best solutions in the gaming industry
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Successful work experience in narrative design in casual games
- Knowledge of industry trends in interactive storytelling
- Ability to write for the target audience
- Ability to work in a team with LD and ND. A base-level understanding of how they work
- Professional empathy
- Strong communication skills
- Experience playing story-based games
