Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver to join our Fleet Operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating a mobile shredding truck, ensuring the secure transport and destruction of client materials, and delivering exceptional customer service.Based out of Edmonton, this position offers a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on the challenge of driving in remote, rugged environments, with a travel requirement of approximately two weeks per month to service clients throughout Northern Alberta and British Columbia.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Secure Fleet Operation: Operate a mobile shredding truck safely across a variety of paved and unpaved roads in diverse weather conditions.
Logistics & Material Handling: Load, transport, and drive without assistance, handling heavy recycling bins over varied terrain, inclines, and stairs.
Client Service & Delivery: Deliver timely customer orders while maintaining professional, clear verbal communication with clients on-site.
Compliance & Documentation: Prepare accurate paperwork and records while strictly maintaining all corporate security and safety procedures.
What you will bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2 to 3 years of route transportation experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of secure route navigation, safe driving practices, and heavy material handling.
A valid Class 5 driver's license with an Air Brake endorsement (Class 3 license with Air Brake endorsement is highly preferred).
A clean driving abstract, a good driving record, and the ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
Exceptional physical stamina, with the ability to lift at least 70 pounds and push or pull bins weighing between 25 to 350 pounds (average weight of 170 pounds), alongside walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.

Competitive Compensation: $27.54/hour
Paid Overtime: Overtime pay structure kicked in after 8 hours worked per day.
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500.00 signing bonus paid after 3 months of continuous employment.
