You will work closely with borrowers, referral partners, and internal processing teams to ensure a seamless mortgage experience from application to closing. Accountabilities
Drive mortgage origination activity while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of clients and referral partners to achieve production goals.
- Originate and manage mortgage loan applications from initial consultation through closing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lending guidelines
- Develop and maintain strong referral networks including real estate agents, builders, financial partners, and community stakeholders
- Advise borrowers on loan products such as FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, adjustable-rate, bridge loans, and home equity solutions
- Oversee end-to-end loan processing by coordinating with processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions
- Monitor loan status, documentation accuracy, and regulatory conformity throughout the lifecycle of each file
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering clear communication and a consultative, service-oriented experience
- Build long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and ongoing referrals
- Active NMLS license or Federal NMLS registration required
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Branch Manager in a production-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and non-conforming loan programs
- Solid understanding of federal and state mortgage regulations and underwriting guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to build referral networks and generate new business through relationship development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and compliance
