About the Role<\/span><\/span><\/b>

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to\njoin the Bridgestone Select Noosaville team on a full\-time, permanent basis.\nThe successful candidate will carry out a broad range of mechanical diagnosis,\nrepair, and maintenance work on passenger and light commercial vehicles. This\nis a hands\-on workshop role requiring sound trade knowledge, strong diagnostic\nability, and a commitment to delivering high\-quality outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Performing scheduled logbook services and general\nmaintenance on passenger and light commercial vehicles
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Diagnosing and repairing faults in engine,\ntransmission, braking, steering, and suspension systems
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Using electronic diagnostic equipment and scan tools to\nidentify mechanical and electrical faults
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conducting pre\-purchase, and safety\ninspections
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Interpreting technical service manuals, wiring\ndiagrams, and manufacturer repair data
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Accurately completing job cards, service records, and\nworkshop documentation
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Advising customers and service advisors on required\nrepairs, maintenance, and parts

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ordering and managing parts and workshop consumables as\nrequired

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop\nenvironment in accordance with WHS requirements

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong mechanical fault\-finding and diagnostic skills\nacross a range of vehicle makes and models

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools, scan\nequipment, and workshop machinery

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Sound knowledge of engine management systems,\ndriveline, braking, steering, and suspension

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum 1\u20132 years of post\-trade experience as a\nqualified Motor Mechanic
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience performing logbook services, mechanical\nrepairs, and diagnostic work across a variety of vehicle makes and models
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience working in a high\-volume automotive service\ncentre, dealership, or tyre and service centre
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience using computerised vehicle diagnostic\nequipment and electronic service data systems
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and\nassociated equipment (desirable)

Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p><\/div>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Trade qualification in Automotive Technology \u2014\nCertificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or recognised equivalent
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Current Queensland Driver\u2019s Licence (manual licence\npreferred)
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Refrigerant Handling Licence \u2014 ARC Licence for\nautomotive air conditioning (preferred)
<\/p>

\u2022 <\/span><\/span><\/span>First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
