Motor Vehicle Operator
This position is located at the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Indian Health Service located in Lame Deer, MT., in the Transportation Office under the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) Department. The purpose of this position is to transport patients to other medical facilities for patient care. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Transport patients daily by GSA vehicle to and from their medical, dental, vision or approved appointment by the PRC program. Makes preventative maintenance inspections on all vehicles. Maintain interior of vehicles according to accepted practice for sanitary environment and ensures vehicle is kept clean. Keep an accurate record of mileage to turn in at the end of the shift. Complete all mandated training by the service unit and I.H.S as required.
