Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Murex Back Office modules and associated operational processes. Monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Murex workflows and Back Office functionalities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trade confirmations, settlements, payments, accounting events, and post-trade processing activities. Investigate and resolve STP (Straight Through Processing) exceptions, reconciliation breaks, and operational discrepancies. Support EOD and intraday batch processing, reporting activities, and interfaces between Murex and external systems such as SWIFT and accounting platforms. Participate in release management, testing, deployment activities, and post-implementation support. Create and maintain documentation for incident resolutions, known errors, support procedures, and operational runbooks. Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support for critical production incidents when required.

SKILLS

Must have

  • 7+ years of experience in Murex application support, with strong expertise in Back Office modules within a production support environment. Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, post-trade processing, settlements, and operational workflows across asset classes such as Commodities, Equities, and other OTC products. Hands-on experience with Murex workflows, confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting processes. Exposure to Datamart reporting and data analysis is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and batch scheduling/monitoring tools. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis in business-critical environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with business users, operations teams, and technology stakeholders.
