About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and secure capture, storage and utilization of all performance data, both on and off court and turn this into a competitive advantage whilst driving consistency of use across the National System. The position needs to be forward thinking, with an eye on 'future proofing' whilst still ensuring a strong focus on achieving positive strategy outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Review and transform the Performance Data Strategy across Game Analysis, Performance Services and Player Development.
- Ensure we have a secure, end-to-end data ecosystem with integration across the AMS and encompassing all analytics, testing and load management.
- Lead a change management approach to consolidate data/reporting literacy and application to improving operational effectiveness and efficiency across the entire Performance Team.
- Assist in the establishment and implementation of objective benchmarks across various functional groups for Management and Executive teams.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Sports Science, Sports Management (essential).
- Experience working in a high-performance sport (essential).
- A high level of analytical skill and systems-based thinking.
- Excellent IT knowledge and experience including multimedia skills, hardware and broad ranging software abilities.
- Experience in notational analysis and in using web environments to research and gather data in sport.
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
