NDT Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production, testing, or laboratory equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine calibrations, verification, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting or repair work to ensure smooth operation and minimize operational downtime.
- Assist in setup, calibration, and verification of machines, tools, and measurement instruments.
- Support senior or lead technicians during more complex maintenance, testing, calibration, or equipment-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, inspections, calibration results, and repair; promptly report any abnormalities, defects, or safety concerns.
- Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company safety guidelines, and quality requirements at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, to enhance maintenance practices, workflow efficiency, equipment handling, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
- Perform other related technical or operational duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- ITE, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome. Candidates with relevant experience in manufacturing, maintenance, laboratory, or equipment operation environments will have an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, maintenance tools, machine operation, and standard workshop practices.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety rules, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, data entry, record-keeping).
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn; able to work under supervision and follow technical instructions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and meet task timelines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Good attention to details, a hands-on mindset, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
