NDT Trainer and Inspector

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Conduct advanced NDT\nprocedures, including but not limited to ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic\nparticle, and dye penetrant testing.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop and implement\nNDT inspection plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and\nregulatory requirements.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Analyze and interpret\nNDT results, preparing detailed reports and documentation.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop curriculum and\nlead the training and mentoring of NDT technicians across levels 1 to 3<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Deliver classroom and\npractical training in NDT methods in accordance with applicable standards\n(ASNT, ISO, PCN, or equivalent).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Lead Organization\ncertification across various NDT regulations (ISO, ASNT, etc).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Endorse internal\ncertification of the NDT technicians and align on behalf of Company to\ndirect/guide on student external certification. (ISO, ASNT as may be required).<\/span>

  • Support audits and\naccreditation processes related to NDT training and certification<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Liaise with operations,\nquality, and management teams to identify training needs and close competency\ngaps.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with operations\nteams to address technical challenges and provide solutions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Promote best practices\nin quality, safety, and ethical conduct during all training activities.<\/span>

  • Stay updated on\nadvancements in NDT technologies and methodologies.<\/span>

    Education<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering,\n materials science, or a related field.<\/b><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Valid NDT Level III certification<\/span><\/b> (ISO 9712) \u2013 mandatory<\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Valid NDT Level III certification<\/span><\/b> (ASNT), May be considered in lieu where ISO 9712 isn\u2019t available.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Certification as an NDT Level III\n technician in methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT).<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Experience<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Minimum of 8 years of experience in\n NDT inspection, preferably in offshore environments.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience with advanced NDT\n techniques, such as Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of\n Flight Diffraction (TOFD).<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong practical knowledge of one\n or more NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, etc.).<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
        • Strong understanding of relevant\n industry standards, such as ASNT, ISO 9712 ISO 17024, and ASTM.<\/span>

          • Proficient in NDT techniques,\n including but not limited to ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle,\n and dye penetrant testing.<\/span>

          • Experience with NDT equipment\n calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Knowledge of quality management\n systems and continuous improvement methodologies.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Knowledge in NDT Curriculum and\n procedures development.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Strong instructional and\n presentation skills.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Excellent technical knowledge and\n problem\-solving ability.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • High attention to detail and\n commitment to quality and safety standards.<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Strong documentation, reporting,\n and record\-keeping skills.<\/span>
