The main function of the Network Cabling Technician is to install, troubleshoot, and maintain data cables and copper and fibre cabling infrastructure as per the standards of the organisations where they work.

Responsibilities will include:<\/b>

<\/div>
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tAssemble and arrange materials and equipment.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tExplain and verify service orders, drawings, specifications, particular needs, and instructions.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tRun, pull, stop, and splice copper and fibre optic cables, such as CAT5, SE, CAT6, low voltage cables, and fibre.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tMount telecommunication equipment while adhering to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tAid in arranging routers.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tInstall support structures, including racks, ladders, j\-hooks, and switches, using data provided by tall teams within the organisation.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tPerform maintenance on existing cabling systems.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tTesting newly installed or relocated cables according to Company specifications.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tIdentify and remove redundant cabling.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tInstallation of routers and internet technology devices.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tTroubleshooting issues with a cable network.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022\tEnsuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.

<\/div>\u2022 4 to 5 Years of relevant technical experience in meeting the physical requirements.

<\/div>\u2022\tStrong knowledge of mathematics, science, and electrical systems.
<\/div>\u2022\tAbility to work in confined spaces.
<\/div>\u2022\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
<\/div>\u2022\tProven work experience as a Cable Technician, who knows premises and outside plant fibre optic cables.
