Network Engineer
KeyResponsibilities
- Design, configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform PC & Server software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across Windows, VM and Linux environments.
- Implement and maintain system hardening practices, including patch management, OS baseline security, and vulnerability remediation.
- Trouble shooting network performance using tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or equivalent.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, system health checks, and log reviews.
- Document configurations, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure resilience and compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT/network engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with Telephony (PABX) environments is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
