Network Engineer

KeyResponsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform PC & Server software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across Windows, VM and Linux environments.
• Implement and maintain system hardening practices, including patch management, OS baseline security, and vulnerability remediation.
• Trouble shooting network performance using tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or equivalent.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, system health checks, and log reviews.
• Document configurations, incident reports, and compliance records.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure resilience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT/network engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with Telephony (PABX) environments is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Exposure to virtualization platforms and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
