Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required Skills:
• Expert knowledge in implementing a pre-integrated system such as Dell EMC, VxBlock and Vblock and VxRail
• Experience assessing and designing networks for enterprise systems that are distributed and require a high degree of encryption and security.
• Experience in network design, development, and implementation.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining appropriate security configurations and controls for all network components
• Experience in designing, planning, installing and maintaining adequate disaster recovery capabilities to meet the production support needs of the business.
• Experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication and identity management systems, and log management
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience in creating high level design documentation
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors to resolve network, voice, and security issues as needed
• Experience and ability to work with IT staff for job shadowing and knowledge transfer
Desired Skills:
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, easy-to-follow manner.
• Experience implementing and/or supporting a SIEM solution
• Experience with cloud hosting
• Experience implementing standards – IRS Publication 1075, NIST 800-53, and others
• Cisco Certification is desired, CCIE, CCDE, or CCNE.
