As PSL, you will report to the TBG (Transportation Business Group) Leader and work alongside the TBG Managers and TBG Business Development Lead (BDL) to provide oversight of individual discipline Practice Leads. %26nbsp;You will coordinate with the TBG Geographic and Market Sector Leaders, as well as HDR’s Professional Services Global Directors to implement the Business Group’s technical and quality initiatives within the TBG. As TBG PSL, you will lead the technical development of the professional practices defined for the area and programs for career development, recognition, and retention of their staff. You will also support recruiting efforts to attract talent. In addition to your primary responsibilities as summarized below, the PSL will be responsible for collaborating on technical delivery and business development for cross-business group opportunities within the area.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn the role of %3Cstrong%3ENew England Transportation Business Group Professional Services Leader%3C/strong%3E, we%27ll count on you to%5C:%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EBe responsible to the Business Group Manager to develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of Business Group staff to meet client needs and market drivers.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials and driving profitability at the project level.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupervise business class leads to ensure the New England Area Transportation Business Group Team functions as a unit and that delivery teams are empowered, supported to provide excellent client service.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead and monitor development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPartner with market sector leads on workload projections and coordinating workload sharing with other Business Groups or Areas.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead and monitor activities for continuous improvement including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead and participate in project reviews and support project teams with management of claims and losses.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in 0% reviews and project reviews, participate in business meetings.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview hiring needs, requisitions and offers as delegated by Business Group Manager.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in key pursuit teaming, staffing discussion and fee development.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPartner with Market Sector Leaders and Project Delivery Leader.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOversee technical and digital delivery evolution, in collaboration with subject matter experts.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork with Business Group Manager to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area, corporate policy and MOA (Matrix of Authority).%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOversee and ensure implementation of quality, standards, and best practices.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECollaborate with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview and approve fee proposals as delegated by Business Group Manager.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EServe as a champion for BGX (cross business sector partnership) opportunities.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupport communication and coordination within all business groups.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as needed%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EPreferred Qualifications%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EA minimum of 15 years%27 experience.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProfessional Engineer (PE) license.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExcellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of the local NES (New England States) market.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EActively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E*LI-MJ1%3C/p%3E
