NPI Project Manager

  • Act as the key contact person for customer on R&D projects.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and R&D technical team providing technical advisory support, to manage customer initial and ad-hoc requirements during inquiry, conception, design, build, and delivery stages of R&D projects.
  • Act as the bridge between internal R&D teams and customers to provide required technical information such as project status updates, delivery progress, and technical reviews.
  • Work with the R&D Teams to manage the R&D workflow (priorities) in alignment with project and customer requirements.
  • Manage the R&D interface with other internal teams to facilitate efficient progress of the R&D project.
  • Prepare and provide regular project status updates to the customer (as needed) and management.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations based on input from technical teams as requested by customers.

· Manage and coordinate product demonstrations and equipment buy-off programs with customers.

· Measure project performance, identify risks and improvement areas, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

· Continue to support R&D and Product Management during the transition period to ensure continuity, knowledge transfer, and customer confidence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering).

· Minimum 3–5years of relevant working experience in project management or semiconductor-related equipment development (experience level commensurate with role seniority).

· Exposure to semiconductor equipment design, development, and packaging/assembly processes.

· Good understanding of product costing, budgeting, and commercial considerations.

· Practical knowledge of hardware and software systems related to equipment development is an advantage.

· Strong project management, coordination

· Customer-centric, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across functions.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
