Nuclear PMO Manager

We are one of the world's leading valve manufacturers and supplies conventional and nuclear power plants and the chemical industry with control, safety and shut-off valves. In this role you will lead and coordinate a team of Nuclear Project Managers, including planning, goal-setting, and performance reviews and ensure successful execution of Nuclear projects using the right resources and strong team organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Own and manage Order Acquisition (POR) and Sales Order Processing (SOP) to secure sales and ensure timely cash collection.

  • Oversee full project lifecycle (scope, delivery, profitability, margins) and ensure milestones and change orders are properly managed.

  • Act as the main point of accountability for project success toward customers, local sales teams, and the Nuclear Business Unit.

  • Support sales during the quotation phase and manage risks, contracts, and compliance with nuclear, legal, and regulatory requirements.

  • Take ownership of customer communication after contract award, ensuring Project Managers are the main contact point.

  • Manage scope changes, assess impact (cost & timeline), and negotiate with customers when needed.

  • Coordinate manufacturing sites and internal teams (Sales, Plants, BU) to achieve cost efficiency and project success.

  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, payment milestones, and timely invoicing while minimizing risks (e.g., liquidated damages).

You communicate efficiently in different situations: in private, in small and large groups or in different styles and at different levels. In additon you are able to work independently and you are capable of building partnerships at the business management level of key customers and suppliers.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge; PMP certification and further education in business administration, operations, or project management preferred.

  • Min of 5 years of similar experience with system, process automation or application

  • engineering experience with relevant project and technical management experience.

  • Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written);

  • Advanced financial knowledge and exposure to project planning.

  • Advanced knowledge of ERP System.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS project or equivalent.

  • Advanced Knowledge of trade regulations and standards (Incoterms, Trade Compliance)

  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • SAP experience preferred
  • A 3rd language is a plus.

  • Experience in Nuclear projects is considered a plus.
