NURSE MANAGER

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year based on experience

Schedule: Full Time with on - call rotation

Location: On site in Benton, TN

As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily nursing operations within our residential treatment center, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compliant patient care. You will provide RN leadership, support medication management and clinical protocols, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role is essential in driving clinical excellence, mentoring and developing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in mental health care. Located near the Hiwassee River and Tennessee mountains, our therapeutic wilderness setting provides the perfect backdrop for transformation. Our home-like residential program fosters healing for both clients and staff, offering an opportunity to make a lasting impact while growing personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing assessments at admission and designated intervals to support treatment planning
  • Lead, train, and mentor nursing staff; ensure competency and compliance
  • Manage medication processes, including administration, documentation, discrepancies, and pharmacy coordination
  • Ensure timely response to client health concerns, including assessment and care decisions
  • Oversee documentation accuracy, including meds, vitals, labs, behavior, and required consents
  • Monitor infection control practices, vital signs, weights, and controlled medication tracking
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support client outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active RN license (required); BSN preferred
  • 3–5+ years of clinical nursing experience, including leadership or supervisory experience
  • Behavioral health knowledge, including familiarity with DSM; residential/inpatient experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical standards, patient safety, and Joint Commission requirements
  • Proficiency with EHRs, clinical systems, and basic computer applications
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to collaborate, provide compassionate care, and maintain professionalism in crisis situations
  • Ability to meet all employment requirements, including background/drug screenings, required certifications (CPR/First Aid/CPI), and a valid driver’s license in good standing
