Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Site Nurse to support a major construction project in the Al-Jurf Area. In this role, you will provide on-site medical care, respond to emergencies, and support occupational health requirements for a large, multi-national workforce. You will play a key role in ensuring workforce wellbeing, regulatory compliance, and timely medical response within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Medical & Emergency Care

  • Provide first aid and primary healthcare to site personnel
  • Respond to workplace injuries and medical emergencies
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate ambulance or hospital transfers
  • Maintain emergency medical equipment and first aid stations

Occupational Health & Compliance

  • Conduct basic health assessments and monitor workers with chronic conditions
  • Maintain medical records in line with UAE regulations
  • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi OSHAD / ADOSH requirements
  • Support health-related incident investigations
  • Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and welfare facilities on site

Health Monitoring & Prevention

  • Perform routine vital checks and health surveillance
  • Support vaccination campaigns and heat stress monitoring
  • Deliver awareness sessions on heat stress, dehydration, fatigue, and related topics
  • Coordinate pre-employment and periodic medical checks

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate medical logs and treatment documentation
  • Prepare monthly health reports for Project Management and HSE teams
  • Track medical inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Liaise with local hospitals and medical service providers

Working Conditions

  • Full-time on active construction site
  • 6-day working week
  • Outdoor exposure and high temperatures
  • May require emergency response outside normal working hours

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Valid Nursing License (DOH – Department of Health Abu Dhabi) is a must.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory)
  • ACLS certification (preferred)

Experience

  • 8–10 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years in construction, industrial, oil & gas, or remote site environments
  • Experience managing workplace injuries and emergency response
  • Experience working with a multinational workforce

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of occupational health practices
  • Familiarity with OSHAD / ADOSH standards
  • Ability to work independently in remote or high-risk environments
  • Strong communication skills (English required; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic an advantage)
  • High professionalism and confidentiality
