You will have responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Meet the medical assessment and treatment needs of each resident

  • Provides safety assessment for withdrawal symptoms or other potentially life-threatening behavior or conditions within 24 hours of admissions

  • Notifies on call physician of immediate crisis

  • Provide peer to peer reviews to managed care companies and other healthcare entities

  • Conclude a medical assessment within 7 days of admission and a full history and physical, when necessary, within 21/45 days of admission

  • Conduct a medical assessment of physical and mental health conditions and medical treatment to stabilize and then enable the resident to manage chronic health and mental health conditions including treatment of physical health conditions that are routine
