Responsibilities Strategic planning & Category management: Commercial responsibility related to Ingredients category with a spend of ~$50MM, used to produce Nuts & Snack & Nutrition finished products across Europe Sector. Develop and execute category sourcing strategies over a multi-year horizon and ensure delivery of annual operation plan (AOP) targets and long term business strategies (portfolio transformation, innovation, sustainability). Lead commercial and contract negotiations / RFPs across the sector and deliver productivity and cash flow targets to ensure business plans are met. Financial Planning & Performance Management: Build and own delivery of Annual Operating Plan (spend and cash flow) and quarterly forecasts for the categories in scope. Develop a robust pipeline of productivity and transformation initiatives to ensure delivery of the year-on-year productivity targets. Partner with Sector functions R&D, Ops and Supply Chain to drive alignment and resource allocation on the category procurement agenda (innovation, quality, sustainability, portfolio transformation and productivity priorities). Drive market intelligence and commodity market insights to ensure right coverage strategies are in place for nuts category. Represent the category in the Commodity Forum. Supplier relationship management and supplier development - to unlock innovation and deliver cost effective PEP+ and portfolio transformation targets, and to unlock consumer value supporting Design to Value and Simplify to Grow Sector strategies. Supplier performance management - to ensure best in class cost/innovation/quality/supply service levels. Supply Assurance & Risk Management - Develop and execute comprehensive category risk management program including financial risk assessment and Business Continuity Planning strategies to ensure supply assurance. Market Intelligence - Stay fully informed of industry developments, capabilities, market trends and innovation pipeline of suppliers, and ensure insights are translated into sourcing strategies in terms of innovation, VE, enhanced supply strategies as well as intel shared with MSO business partners. Governance, Compliance & Audit Readiness - Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with Procurement Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls. Sustainability & pep+ Delivery - Ensure achievement of sector pep+ targets and legal compliance. Develop and ensure execution of Supplier Sustainability Plans in partnership with MSO Category Leads, Sustainability, Innovation, and Partnerships teams. Procurement Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Represents Europe in Global Nuts Procurement Council, works with peers in other sectors to identify best practices and lift and shift to Europe and builds leverage globally with other Sectors across global suppliers. Partner closely with Sector stakeholders (R&D, SQA, SC, Sustainability, S&T, Marketing) and MSO category leads to understand Region dynamics & functional needs (macroeconomic, business needs) for strategy development to ensure maximum business value. Co-operation with Legal Department to ensure the most beneficial contract terms for PepsiCo and coordinate signing local contracts. Qualifications Strong procurement experience(min 6 years), ideally within CPG ingredients, commodities or other direct procurement categories. Strategic thinking to translate external market insights and internal business requirements into effective category procurement strategies Financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, Annual Operating Plans, commodity pricing. Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess markets, competition, opportunities and risks. Understanding of sourcing, supplier management, and cost structures. Proven track record of project management and driving change in complex, cross functional organizations. Possesses excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills enabling them to effectively partner cross functionally to maintain alignment and drive category strategies.
