Office Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this position, you will work alongside the two founding partners and general managers. The ideal candidate’s main focus will be problem solving various logistical problems for the company, expense tracking, and general office management. While this job centres around the basic office management you will be expected to jump in to assist in several areas. In this busy role, you will sometimes be responsible for managing the planning and production of various projects to ensure they meet creative, sales, timings and budget objectives. This is an opportunity to, learn and grow every day with no ceiling to upward movement within the company.
You’ll be expected to develop great relationships with our clients and networks, building rapport and trust with more and more experience. Your primary focus is providing support for the owners and production team while developing your knowledge to take on greater responsibilities, producing the best work and making sure no deadlines are missed. This position will require weekend work and frequent travel to television broadcast events around Australia and sometimes overseas in the US, Europe and China.
While previous television, broadcast, film or design experience would certainly help it is not completely necessary. We are more interested in a candidate who wants to become part of team and is interested in growing and accepting more responsibility as they learn about the business. We reward based on merit, work ethic and capability. If you prove yourself capable this role can adapt to include more responsibility and plenty of salary growth within the company structure.
