Essential Duties & Responsibilities

(Additional duties may be assigned.)

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally
  • Support sales staff by finalizing customer transactions efficiently
  • Resolve customer concerns both in person and over the phone
  • Handle escalated customer service situations with professionalism
  • Prepare and manage office staff schedules
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of office policies and procedures
  • Review and process customer order updates and modifications
  • Record accurate customer order details and notes
  • Process cash, credit card, and check transactions in accordance with company policies
  • Generate and maintain operational reports
  • Review sales orders daily for accuracy and completion
  • Support sales floor operations including pricing, tagging, promotions, and organization as needed
  • Complete daily closeout procedures and cash reconciliation
  • Track office supply inventory and submit quarterly supply requests
  • Train and onboard new office team members on company systems and policies
  • Manage and process all new hire paperwork and ensure timely submission to HR
  • Ensure office staff complete daily responsibilities and maintain compliance with company policies
  • Maintain assigned schedule and attendance expectations
  • Attend all required meetings
  • May serve as a Key Holder when assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages office staff (Customer Service Representatives) and, in the absence of the Store General Manager or Sales Manager, may assume responsibility for all store personnel.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable federal and state employment laws.


Qualifications

To perform this role successfully, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Strong basic math skills (discounts, percentages, commissions, and calculations)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Motivated with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Commitment to company goals and operational excellence
  • Ability to identify problems, gather information, and develop solutions
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, management, and team members

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel within a Windows environment
  • Office Management experience: 2 years preferred
  • Customer Service experience: 2 years preferred
