About the team and the role:
We partner with our customers to remove barriers to growth and build long-term loyalty to the eBay marketplace by understanding the unique needs of scaling businesses. As a Pan-European Onboarding Advisor, you will play a key role in the commercial funnel, helping high-potential merchants successfully launch and grow their businesses on eBay.
Working closely with Business Development teams across Europe, you will own the onboarding journey for qualified merchant leads, guiding sellers from account setup and listing launch through to their first verified GMV and ongoing marketplace success. This role combines customer relationship management, operational execution, and commercial problem-solving to help merchants realize value from the eBay platform as quickly as possible.
**Please Note **
This role requires fluency in English & French.
This role is based in the Republic of Ireland.

What you will accomplish:
  • Guide merchants through a structured onboarding journey, from account setup and listing launch to achieving their first verified GMV on eBay.
  • Manage activation pipelines, track onboarding milestones, and contribute to activation targets, velocity metrics, and operational performance reviews.
  • Build trusted relationships with merchants, proactively identifying and resolving technical, operational, and compliance-related barriers to growth.
  • Use eBay systems and tools to document customer interactions, monitor onboarding progress, and support performance against commercial objectives.
  • Provide consultative support on marketplace growth strategies, cross-border shipping programs, billing setup, technical integrations, and other aspects of the seller lifecycle.
  • Partner with Business Development teams and Vertical Managers to deliver a seamless onboarding experience while educating sellers on platform enhancements, new product releases, and marketplace best practices.

What you will bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in e-commerce, account management, sales onboarding, or a related customer-facing commercial role.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals, with an understanding of sales funnels, conversion metrics, activation performance, and pipeline management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage international merchants and collaborate across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce business models, online marketplace operations, multi-channel selling, merchant onboarding processes, and technical platform integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, full fluency in English and French, and willingness to travel as a representative of the eBay brand when required.
