We\nare looking for a Sales Representative in the public and private utilities\nmetering space, selling Electricity, Water and Gas metering solutions and\nproducts to public and private utility customers.<\/span> The\nideal candidate must be a results\-driven, business savvy, technical minded\nindividual that will actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will\nprovide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top\n& bottom\-line revenue growth and profitability. Ensuring that agreed sales\nobjectives are met or exceeded and growing revenue, profitability and\nincreasing the company market share within the private and public utility\nmarkets. Reporting to the Business Development Manager.<\/span> Key\nPerformance Areas:<\/span><\/b> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Promote the company\u2019s\nproducts and services.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement a\ncustomer growth strategy (Active hunting).<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify, pursue and close\nnew business opportunities.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Retain and grow existing\ncustomer business.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Plan to meet sales targets\nand budgets.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Analyze and investigate\npricing, demand & competition.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Confer with customers and\ntechnical staff to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct research and cold\ncall potential customers to identify potential new markets and customers.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Create detailed proposal\ndocuments and formal bidding process documentation.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare & deliver\ntechnical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Communicating new product\ndevelopments to existing and prospective clients<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide sales & forecasts\nreports.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage the sales cycle from\ninception to completion.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Build long\-term relationships\nwith new and existing customers.<\/span> Skills and Education Required<\/span><\/b> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Tertiary Qualification in\nBusiness, Electrical and/or Engineering.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of Five (5) Years\nproven sales track record and work experience in the Electricity and/or Water metering\nspace.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in technical sales\nenvironment<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven track record achieving\nsales targets.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Good communication, presentation\nand negotiation skills<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to build and maintain\ncustomer relationships.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Capability to grow in a\ncompetitive environment.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>The ability to handle and\ninfluence customers efficiently.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Must be Fluent in English<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Must be willing to travel\nextensively nationally.<\/span> Other\nRequirements when applying<\/span><\/b>
