Operating Theatre Scrub Nurse (Orthopaedic) (BH ID: 700964)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct perioperative assessments for patients undergoing surgery.
• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse for various specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, and Urology.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments to prioritize safety for both staff and patients.
• Apply knowledge of infection control, aseptic, and sterile techniques during surgeries.
• Prepare operating rooms thoroughly ahead of scheduled surgeries.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board is essential.
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Prior experience as a scrub nurse would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary day surgery operations is a plus.
• Strong motivation and ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
