Then the role of Operational Buyer is perfect for you! As an Operational Buyer, you ensure that material availability aligns with the needs of both internal and external customers. You do this by purchasing the required components for our production processes in a timely and accurate manner. Most purchases are made through our preferred suppliers, where you monitor the process and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

We also ask for:

A completed MBO+ education in (Technical) Business Administration or Logistics
• Affinity with or experience working with technical products
• Creativity in finding solutions and a practical, entrepreneurial mindset
• Stress resistance and strong prioritization skills
• Intrinsic motivation to propose improvements
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
• Experience in a similar role though we also warmly invite starters to apply

Your daily responsibilities include:

As an Operational Buyer, you will take on the following tasks:
• Assessing and processing purchase suggestions into purchase orders in the ERP system, considering price, lead time, and packaging units
• Checking and processing order confirmations from suppliers in the ERP system
• Monitoring deliveries and proposing alternative products or suppliers when needed
• Evaluating and executing replanning orders and adjusting priorities together with Planning
• Communicating and following up on forecasts with suppliers
• Proposing adjustments to purchasing parameters
• Handling and preventing invoice discrepancies and quality issues
• Ensuring timely internal alignment with key stakeholders in the production process, such as the Planning and Warehouse departments
