This role ensures that UCAM\u2019s long\-term strategic goals (Revenue Growth, Lead Time Reduction, and Profitability) are translated into daily operational excellence on the factory floor using best practices<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Operational KPI Governance & RCA<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/h4>
  • Monitor daily and weekly factory KPIs: like OEE, Lead time, OTD, Downtime etc and maintain KPI scorecard<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on KPI deviations using Six Sigma tools like Fishbone Diagrams and the 5\-Why technique.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure data integrity between the physical shop floor and digital dashboards (SAP/AppSheet).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Process Re\-engineering (BPR):<\/span><\/span><\/b> Analyze existing manufacturing and supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies. Design and implement "to\-be" processes that improve throughput and reduce cycle time.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • SAP Optimization:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Leverage deep knowledge of <\/span><\/span>SAP PP (Production Planning)<\/span><\/span><\/b> and <\/span><\/span>MM (Material Management)<\/span><\/span><\/b> to configure, test, and optimize system usage for manufacturing operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Process Mapping & Documentation:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Translate complex cross\-functional requirements into clear, visual process maps (using tools like BPMN, Visio, or similar) to ensure organizational alignment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Requirement Elicitation:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observation sessions with shop\-floor managers and production leads to document granular business requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Change Management:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Act as a change agent by developing communication and training plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes across the manufacturing unit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Data\-Driven Insights:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency and SAP system utilization to measure the success of re\-engineering initiatives.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Project & Initiative Management<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/h4>
    • Act as the local Project Coordinator for strategic initiatives (e.g., Lean Implementation, New Product assembly lines, Digitalization of Data etc)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Maintain Project Charters and Gantt Charts for factory\-side improvements to ensure milestones are met without "prodding."<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Manage dependencies between departments (Production, Quality, Stores, Supply chain) to prevent project delays.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Facilitate CFT meetings on process improvements, bottleneck identifications and project planning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Strategic Liaison & Reporting<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • Conduct "Gemba Walks" to observe real\-time execution gaps and report them to the reporting manager.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Translate top\-level strategy into shop\-floor "Action Boards" (SQCDP) that operators can understand and follow.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Technical Skills & Competencies Required<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/p>

        • PPC Foundations:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Strong understanding of Work Orders, BOM, and Production Scheduling.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Six Sigma:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt level). Ability to use Pareto Charts and Control Charts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Project Management:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Familiarity with MS Project, Trello, or structured Excel Gantt charts. Understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Data Literacy:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic SAP\-PP module exposure.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

        • BPR: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>Proficiency in process mapping software (e.g., Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Bizagi). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
