Supports the setup, maintenance, and logistics of event equipment and inventory to ensure seamless execution of event operations. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and transporting event materials and from event sites. The Equipment Associate works closely with event coordinators, operations staff, and vendors to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. Interact with the dining room/lounge guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests

  • Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the tables and surrounding area including floor

  • Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs

  • Responsible for the collection, movement, distribution, and requisition of events inventory and equipment for each event

  • Mobilize large furniture and equipment throughout the Venue

  • Perform equipment pulls and returns independently based on the specific needs of the event as outlined by the Venue Managers

  • Maintain accurate inventory count both pre and post event

  • Maintain communication with management throughout events to ensure all equipment is present

  • Access storage needs and communicates with team accordingly

  • Report/document any missing/broken items to management

  • Maintain storage organization and cleanliness to ensure smooth event service

  • Upkeep of our shared storage spaces

  • Receiving and returning of packages

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Equipment Associate training

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum 1 year experience receiving and handling inventory required

  • Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
