Job Summary

Operations Executive for Medical Transport Services coordinates and supports daily non-emergency medical transport operations, ensuring timely, safe patient transfers and compliance with healthcare regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatching of non-emergency medical transport vehicles and drivers to ensure timely patient transfers
• Manage communication and coordination with hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and internal teams to fulfill transport requests efficiently
• Monitor and maintain fleet readiness, including vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate and updated records of drivers, vehicles, transport logs, trip sheets, checklists, and patient information
• Enforce adherence to infection control protocols and proper patient handling procedures among all staff
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and rostering processes for drivers and attendants to maintain adequate staffing levels
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and delays; analyze causes and report findings with recommended corrective actions to management
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, transport licensing requirements, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit regular reports detailing transport activities, resource utilization, and operational performance
• Coordinate procurement and inventory management of medical supplies such as PPE, stretchers, and wheelchairs

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• NITEC/Higher NITEC holders with healthcare working experience are also considered

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Qualifications in healthcare disciplines are advantageous
• Knowledge of medical equipment is preferred
• Ex-nurses are strongly encouraged to apply
• Possession of Class 3 driving license is a bonus
