Job Description:
- Conduct customer profile set up and necessary onboarding procedures for client account opening
- Responsible for client account maintenance request: customer profile changes (i.e. update customer information, change of directors/authorized signers, etc.) in core propriety system
- Data input & approval of account opening, perform data maintenance and SSI functions in downstream system
- Timely address queries from Business Units and Compliance
- Have a strong understanding of upstream/downstream and execution platforms
- Support various elements of the data lifecycle, from ensuring that data is captured from the best source, to validating and classifying, and operating controls that optimize its quality and maximize coverage
- Legal entity creation, modification, and clearing data quality exceptions through independent external research
- Remediate data issues and gaps to ensure all data is ready for use by various processes built around as per the firm’s standards and policies
- Extract and manage data to support adhoc requests, such as internal/external compliance related queries and data migration projects
- On-going review of work processes to identify improvements
- Participate in projects such as writing test cases, performing UAT and system migration
- Process client hardcopy document filing, identify and obtain missing information by communicating with the front office
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of operations experience in Bank or Securities Firm
- Hands on experience in Account Opening and Client Reference Data
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a must (Python/VBA skills is advantageous)
- Knowledge in KYC/AML/FATCA/CRS/QI processes is advantageous
- Excellent attention to details
- Diligent, analytical and organized
- Be able to work independently and willing to work overtime
- Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
