Operations Manager

We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the operations department, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing operational risks, and driving process improvement to support business objectives and ensure operational excellence across the company.

Your role at HFM:
  • Supervise daily operations to ensure timely, accurate processing of client transactions and internal workflows.
  • Ensure strict adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal operational standards relevant to the FX and broader financial services industry.
  • Work closely with trading, sales, finance, and compliance teams to support seamless and efficient operational execution.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee transaction processing, fund transfers, trade settlements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with banks, and payment processors.
  • Lead and mentor operations staff, providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability.
  • Identify operational risks and implement effective control measures to mitigate them.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and data-driven insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive the implementation of new systems and oversee upgrades to improve operational capabilities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial markets and processes.
  • Familiarity with operational and legal considerations relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial operations platforms.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Proactive mindset, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
