We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the operations department, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing operational risks, and driving process improvement to support business objectives and ensure operational excellence across the company.
Your role at HFM:
- Supervise daily operations to ensure timely, accurate processing of client transactions and internal workflows.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal operational standards relevant to the FX and broader financial services industry.
- Work closely with trading, sales, finance, and compliance teams to support seamless and efficient operational execution.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee transaction processing, fund transfers, trade settlements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with banks, and payment processors.
- Lead and mentor operations staff, providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective control measures to mitigate them.
- Prepare and present performance reports and data-driven insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive the implementation of new systems and oversee upgrades to improve operational capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial markets and processes.
- Familiarity with operational and legal considerations relevant to the financial services sector.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial operations platforms.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies.
- Proactive mindset, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
