Join our Manufacturing Industry team as an Operations & Project Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in keeping projects, processes, and client service running smoothly. In this collaborative position, you'll partner with leadership to coordinate operations, support business development initiatives, manage reporting and billing activities, track key performance metrics, and drive process improvements that help deliver exceptional service to our clients.
This position can be fully remote (office and hybrid options are also available if close to one of our 5 offices), with priority given to candidates living in the southeastern united states.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in business administration, operations, project coordination, accounting, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations coordination, project coordination, administrative support, business support, client service support, or a related professional services role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience coordinating deadlines, workflows, meetings, reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and maintaining a high level of organization and confidentiality.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance, marketing, project management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a public accounting firm, professional services organization, or client service environment.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Experience supporting billing, WIP tracking, invoice preparation, reporting, budgeting, KPIs, or operational tracking.
- Experience supporting business development activities, lead tracking, proposal coordination, or marketing initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- Experience using AI technology, project management tools, workflow tools, CRM systems, reporting tools, or other technology to improve efficiency and organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Independently coordinate departmental administrative processes, workflows, and operational support activities for the Manufacturing Industry team, including evaluating priorities, identifying potential issues, and determining appropriate next steps.
- Maintain, evaluate, and recommend improvements to departmental service packages, templates, workflows, and process documentation to support consistency, efficiency, accountability, and effective service delivery.
- Coordinate industry billing processes, including monitoring work-in-process, reviewing billing status, identifying potential delays or exceptions, communicating with engagement teams, and recommending appropriate follow-up actions to support timely and accurate billing.
- Support the Industry Leader and department leadership with reporting, budgeting support, operational tracking, and project management activities by gathering, analyzing, and organizing information used to support business decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate industry metrics, reports, and key performance indicators; identify trends, exceptions, or areas requiring leadership attention; and recommend follow-up actions as appropriate.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new clients and employees by determining required steps, aligning appropriate stakeholders, monitoring completion, resolving routine process issues, and escalating significant matters when necessary.
- Respond to client and internal administrative inquiries by evaluating the nature of the request, determining the appropriate response or resource, resolving matters within scope of authority, and escalating significant or sensitive issues to leadership.
- Support industry team compliance and administrative tracking related to internal inspections, engagement documentation, and process requirements by monitoring completion, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective follow-up.
- Plan and coordinate industry team meetings, training sessions, conferences, professional development logistics, and other team events, including evaluating needs, organizing resources, managing timelines, and resolving logistical issues.
- Attend segment team meetings, including core and technical meetings, to understand business priorities, track action items, contribute operational insight, and coordinate follow-up activities.
- Track, monitor, and assess leads, prospects, proposals, and related business development activities; identify follow-up needs and coordinate next steps with leadership, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate follow-up activities and communications related to prospects, proposals, client opportunities, and industry initiatives, exercising judgment regarding timing, priority, stakeholder involvement, and escalation needs.
- Partner with Marketing to support business development activities for the Manufacturing Industry team by coordinating information, timelines, deliverables, and leadership support needs.
- Collaborate across organizational departments and cross-functional teams to support team-wide operational goals, service delivery, and process improvement efforts, including identifying opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and accountability.
- Coordinate scheduling, workflow management, and assignment tracking for industry administrative activities and client work, including evaluating competing deadlines and recommending adjustments to support business priorities.
- Follow up with clients on behalf of the leadership team, using professional judgment to determine appropriate communication, timing, and escalation of client service matters.
- Participate in industry and firmwide projects, committees, and process improvement initiatives; contribute recommendations, coordinate assigned workstreams, monitor progress, and support implementation of approved changes.
- Use AI technology and other firm-approved tools to analyze information, streamline workflows, improve accuracy, support reporting, and efficiently complete assigned responsibilities.
