Operations Project Mgmt. Manager
Position Summary
Responsible for leading the global deployment, integration, governance, and sustainment of VOS requirements within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and Quality functions. The role ensures alignment between functional strategies and VOS standards while driving consistency, capability building, and deployment execution across all regions and sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global deployment of VOS standards within AME and Quality.
- Drive integration of Quality at the Source, problem solving, process controls, manufacturing readiness, and engineering standards into VOS.
- Support sites and functional leaders in deployment planning, execution, and sustainment activities.
- Conduct assessments, audits, and maturity reviews to verify compliance and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain global standards, training materials, and deployment roadmaps.
- Partner with Operations, AME, Quality, and Regional VOS teams to remove deployment barriers and improve adoption.
- Monitor deployment progress, report results, and drive corrective actions where required.
- Support VOS certification activities and ensure functional requirements are embedded within the Capability Assessment process.

Qualifications:
Required / Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering, operational excellence, or continuous improvement roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Business System, or Continuous Improvement deployments in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and tools, including Daily Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Visual Management, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Engineering organizations.
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to travel globally up to 40–50%.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
- Experience deploying a formal operating system, business system, or manufacturing excellence framework across multiple sites.
- Experience supporting Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality Systems, or Manufacturing Readiness processes.
- Experience conducting audits, assessments, and capability maturity evaluations in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality management systems, and manufacturing process controls.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
Time Travel Needed: -
- Travel globally up to 40–50%.
