Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities

• To provide and educate patients with professional advice
• Performing eye examinations using specialised equipment to check their ocular health and diagnose symptoms.
• Provide professional advices and solutions to patients
• Dispense and manage the inventory of the lenses

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Opticianry, Advanced Certificate of Performance in Ophthalmic Dispensing and Refraction or Diploma in Optometry
• Registered Optician or Probational Optician under MOH Optometrists and Optician Board are welcome to apply
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with or without prior experience may apply
