Oracle Cloud Security Technical Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Cloud Security Technical Consultant based in India.

This role is centered on delivering Oracle Cloud security and governance solutions within complex enterprise environments, helping organizations strengthen controls, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work on the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud security modules, with a strong focus on financial systems and enterprise risk management frameworks. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions. You will contribute to both pre- and post-implementation phases, ensuring robust system integration, testing, and smooth deployments. Operating in a consulting-driven environment, you will also support workshops, advisory activities, and ongoing managed services. This is a high-impact role where technical expertise and risk management knowledge directly support enterprise governance and transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud Security solutions, particularly within financial and ERP modules.
  • Perform security and control reviews, including pre-implementation and post-implementation assessments to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Implement and support Oracle Risk Management Cloud solutions, including Advanced Access Controls and Advanced Financial Controls.
  • Facilitate and participate in client workshops to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and define functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to deliver Oracle Cloud security implementations with minimal supervision.
  • Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and go-live activities.
  • Provide post-implementation and managed services support for ongoing system stability and enhancements.
  • Conduct end-to-end functional and technical testing across Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and provide guidance to junior team members when required.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of overall industry experience with at least 4+ years in Oracle Cloud technical or security-focused roles.
    • Proven experience delivering multiple ERP, GRC, audit, or controls implementation projects (minimum 5 engagements).
    • Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules and security configuration.
    • Deep understanding of internal controls, IT audit principles, and risk management frameworks.
    • Knowledge of P2P and O2C business processes in cloud ERP environments.
    • Experience with Oracle Risk Management Cloud, including Advanced Access Controls and Advanced Financial Controls.
    • Ability to conduct requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, unstructured challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Preferred certifications: CPA, CA, CIA, CISA, or CFE.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global, distributed teams.
