Oracle Fusion Functional Lead – Projects & Financials

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Lead with 10+ years of strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Projects and Financials. The role is responsible for leading end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support engagements, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Projects modules and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise, strong finance and project business process knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to guide teams and client stakeholders through scalable Oracle Fusion solution delivery.

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Projects and Financials implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support engagements.
  • Conduct business requirement workshops with client stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, reporting needs, and future-state requirements.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable Oracle Fusion solutions aligned with business needs and Oracle best practices.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion Projects modules and support relevant Financials module configurations where required.
  • Prepare functional solution designs, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and other project deliverables.
  • Guide functional and technical teams on solution approach, integrations, extensions, data migration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, business validation, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Manage client stakeholders, communicate project risks and dependencies, and support successful adoption of Oracle Fusion solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP functional consulting, with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Projects and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials/ PPM Module.
  • In-depth functional knowledge across Oracle Fusion Projects modules, such as Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, Project Execution Management, Grants Management, or related areas.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support engagements.
  • Strong understanding of finance and project accounting business processes.
  • Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing support, and production support.
  • Ability to prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, business process flows, and stakeholder-facing solution materials.
  • Experience working with technical teams on integrations, reports, conversions, extensions, and workflow-related requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience across Oracle Fusion Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, or Expenses.
  • Oracle Fusion Projects or Financials certification.
  • Experience in global rollouts, multi-country implementations, localization, and multi-ledger environments.
  • Exposure to Oracle best-practice business flows, security roles, approvals, SLA, and reporting dependencies.
  • Experience working in customer-facing consulting, managed services, or support-integrated delivery environments.
