About the opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Organisational Readiness Specialist to lead HR business readiness communications for the implementation of compliance projects at the University. In this role, you will design and deliver communication strategies that support organisational preparedness, ensuring staff understand, adopt, and embed compliance requirements into practice.
You will play a key role in translating regulatory and policy requirements into clear, practical messaging, enabling leaders and teams to effectively implement change. Working closely with HR leaders and project teams, you will ensure communications are aligned with business readiness plans, support risk mitigation, and drive sustained compliance outcomes.
Using data and insights, you will continuously refine communication approaches to strengthen engagement, improve understanding, and enable successful transition to compliant ways of working.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- design and develop business readiness communications in support of HR leaders and projects teams that include targeted updates, guidance materials, and intranet content aligned to project milestones
- develop clear, practical messaging that translates compliance requirements into actions for staff and leaders, ensuring understanding and consistent application across the organisation
- design and implement communication and readiness plans that support change adoption, mitigate compliance risks, and embed new processes into business-as-usual operations
- create and oversee content across multiple channels, ensuring messaging is consistent, accessible, and aligned with governance frameworks and university standards
- use data insights, feedback, and performance metrics to assess readiness and communication effectiveness, refining strategies to improve engagement, capability uplift, and sustained compliance outcomes
About you
- bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience
- demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective communication plans, ideally supporting organisational change or compliance initiatives
- strong content creation skills, with experience writing for diverse audiences and using content management systems
- well-developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- proven ability to plan and manage multiple priorities, supported by strong organisational and project management capabilities
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and utilise digital tools, CRM systems, and data insights
