Salary Range: $77,920-$123,807
Position Summary
The Hub Origin Manager oversees daily Export/Origin operations of the Order Management team within the Supply Chain Solutions Group. This role leads a high‑performing team, drives process excellence, and ensures consistent execution of client PO booking activities.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operations & People Leadership
- Oversee daily export/origin workflow and align team capacity with volume.
- Improve process efficiency, workflow management, and milestone governance.
- Monitor dashboards and exception reports to ensure compliance.
- Establish clear communication protocols for client transparency and issue resolution.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide recommendations on coaching, hiring, and corrective actions.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and establish clear roles and responsibilities within the team.
Process Management & Innovation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality.
- Serve as subject matter expert for systems and processes; support demos and training.
- Lead change management for new software, system enhancements, and SOP updates.
- Support sales and client engagement by demonstrating operational expertise.
- Promote a culture of innovation and openness to new approaches.
Relationship Management & Training
- Manage relationships with client contacts and internal Business Development and Account Management.
- Support client business reviews preparations and account performance discussions.
- Resolve customer issues proactively and understand when to escalate a customer concern to management.
- Use performance metrics to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead onboarding and training for new clients, new origins, and vendors.
- Build a high‑performance culture through continuous training and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus five - or more years of global logistics experience with at least three years of managerial responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to grasp extensive knowledge while dealing with a variety of people.
- Ability to manage multi-faceted operational demands, leveraging strong organizational logic to stabilize workflows, maximize resource utilization.
- Exhibit structured, data-driven judgment to navigate fast moving supply chain exceptions and apply strong critical thinking and root cause analysis to make swift, accurate decisions that preserve departmental velocity and uphold client SLAs
- Leverage strong communication logic to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
