OT Cyber Sec Support II
As a Cyber Engineer II at Honeywell, you will design, implement, and support advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets across industries. Responsibilities include strengthening defenses, performing assessments, deploying security technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of cybersecurity solutions.
This role is preferentially open to internal and external candidates with Honeywell experience, particularly those with deep knowledge of Honeywell’s internal processes, systems, and products, as well as established relationships with Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Design, implement, and install optimal cybersecurity solutions for customer environments, ensuring alignment with technical and operational requirements.
- Perform cybersecurity assessments, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies for industrial control systems (ICS) and OT environments.
- Execute deployment, configuration, and integration of cybersecurity tools and technologies at customer sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, and services) to ensure successful delivery and support of cybersecurity solutions.
- Leverage cybersecurity requirements to recommend system hardening, migration, and implementation strategies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after implementation phases.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- 3–5 years of transferable experience in cybersecurity or related field
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies, particularly in industrial control or OT environments
- Hands-on experience with deployment and installation of cybersecurity solutions
- Relevant certification such as CCNA, Security+, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulations such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001
- Knowledge of regional cybersecurity regulations and standards
- Strong technical background in systems and application engineering
