OTC Sales Trader

You will take responsibility for OTC trading during US hours, executing and quoting trades and maintaining and expanding relationships with counterparties. You will price and quote larger and exotic trades alongside senior traders, evaluate and mitigate trading risks, contribute to OTC sales strategy, produce market commentary and research, and represent the desk at conferences and events to win new business.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of OTC trading during US hours
• Quote and price trades
• Maintain and expand relationships with counterparties to increase trading activity
• Collaborate with senior traders to price and quote larger and exotic trades
• Evaluate and mitigate trading risks using risk management strategies
• Develop and contribute to OTC sales strategy with the business development team
• Provide market commentary and research and generate proprietary market color
• Attend conferences and events to expand the client base and track market trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related quantitative field
• Experience working as a sales trader in a high performing business
• Strong trading knowledge of OTC spot trading
• Derivative trading knowledge is a significant advantage
• Ability to learn derivatives pricing (will be tested)
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (will be tested)
• Experience in HFT or algorithmic trading is a plus
• Strong interest and curiosity in blockchain, crypto and DeFi
