This is a leadership role that will be based in Denver, CO. leading the Denver OTR (Over The Road) Fleet Team. Responsibilities The OTR (Over The Road) Fleet Manager role will lead the Denver OTR Fleet field team within the region to increase capability and driving performance. Responsible for managing the budget, financial performance in Repair and Maintenance, Fuel, Rentals, and Tires. From a service standpoint, the role has the responsibility for reliability performance of over the road fleet assets. This role will have direct reports that include 8 Fleet Technicians and 1 Lead Technician. This is a strategic role that will require influence and collaboration across functions as well as exceptional Leadership Management and Development of talent pipeline. Lead local Fleet Team to deliver the cost, quality, service, and reliability results set out in the annual Fleet Capability plan. Partner with the Fleet Service Center team that supports the outside vendor maintenance service and parts ordering. Utilize, implement, and execute national tactics to drive World Class Service & Performance Build a specific strategic plan to drive Fleet performance. Develop and manage a comprehensive asset utilization plan for maximum asset availability Align with site, region and fleet HQ management on annual fleet financial plan, productivity and tactical/strategic initiatives Execute a fuel maintenance conservation plan to reduce fuel usage and improve overall MPG Manage all regulatory compliance (DOT, EPA, SMART, OSHA and FDA) Manage 8+ direct reports Responsibility for key accounts including repair and maintenance, Inventory, fuel, rentals, and tires for local location Develop technical and non-technical capability of the fleet technicians Build and sustain strong business relationships with Transportation Operations. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
