Outpatient Substance Use Disorder

Arbor Place, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team in Menomonie, WI. Position Overview

As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team to provide high-quality, client-centered care to individuals and families experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing substance use assessments and treatment recommendations
  • Providing individual, family, and potentially group counseling services
  • Developing individualized treatment plans with effective interventions
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries
  • Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate care and support client success
  • Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational projects based on professional interests

Qualifications include:

  • Current Wisconsin SAC or CSAC credential required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders preferred
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
