Pay Range
£26,300 - £31,500
Full-time, although we would be happy to consider applicants who are looking to work on a part time basis. If you would like to explore this further, please discuss this with the talent partner for this role.

What is the role about?
Outreach and Delivery Coaches are critical to the successful delivery of Reed Wellbeing's world class evidence-based health and wellbeing behavioural lifestyle interventions. Comprising of group-based health and wellbeing interventions, the Outreach & Delivery Coach will be responsible for engagement and delivery of smoking cessation interventions – as outlined below – to agreed quality standards in order to support participants in achieving their SMART goals relating to their specific health programme.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include
Engagement
Outreach and Delivery Coaches will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships within the smoking cessation team.
Establishing and maintaining external stakeholders such as GP practices, local employers, community groups.
The Outreach and Delivery Coach will act as an ambassador for the programme.
Promoting the benefits of smoking cessation and the support available.
Compliance
Outreach and Delivery Coaches will be required to capture contract-specific data on our Reed Wellbeing systems to assure quality and to comply with Commissioner reporting requirements.
Responsible for assessing the suitability of venues for effective programme delivery.
Delivery
Responsible for effective delivery of Reed Wellbeing services. Delivering in accordance with the curriculum, resources and quality standards.
Support and coach participants to achieve sustained behavioural improvements in their lifestyle and health.
Self-development & Continuous Improvement
To ensure the programme is performing effectively and to the highest standards.
Proactively contribute ideas for service improvement and actively and satisfactorily participate in initial training and continuous professional development activities to ensure they maintain up to date relevant skills for their role.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with
Experience of coaching or facilitating diverse participant groups.
Experience of/interest in working with groups to achieve sustained behavioural or lifestyle improvements.
Experience of working to targets and driving performance improvement.
Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with key stakeholders and participants.
An understanding of health-related behaviour change.
Active listening skills whilst maintaining a non-judgemental perspective on participant’s lifestyle, weight, and health.
Ability to communicate sensitively and accurately, information regarding an individual’s health, weight or CO reading.
Ability to coach individuals and groups to identify solutions and develop knowledge and skills to support behavioural change.
Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills with the capacity to monitor, evaluate and report on work carried out.
Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work as required.
Willingness and flexibility to travel in order to deliver programmes across designated region.
Desirable Qualifications
REPs Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification or equivalent;
or Level 3 qualification in health improvement or promotion or public health or equivalent (eg. City & Guilds Level 3 Health Trainer or equivalent);
or Level 3 qualification in nutrition;
or Level 3 Training qualification (eg. PTTLs/Award in Education & Training)
or NCSCT Smoking Cessation Practitioner training
