Compensation Details

  • The starting hourly rate for this position is between $26.00 and $30.00 based on your prior work experience.
  • When you work on a Contour observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Specific information regarding Contour’s observed holiday policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.
  • When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime, which is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate

Summary of Essential Duties

The Outstation Parts & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the control, tracking, and movement of aircraft parts at assigned outstation locations in support of Part 135 operations. This position ensures accurate inventory management, timely delivery and pickup of aircraft parts, and proper issuance of materials to maintenance personnel to support safe, complaint, and efficient aircraft operations.

This role serves as a key liaison between Maintenance Control, Supply Chain, vendors, and outstation maintenance teams to ensure aircraft readiness and minimize downtime.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory control of all aircraft parts, consumables, and tooling at assigned outstation(s).
  • Receive, inspect, and properly document incoming parts and materials, ensuring traceability and airworthiness documentation is complete.
  • Issue parts to aircraft and maintenance personnel in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform inventory transactions in company tracking systems (TRAX, FOS, or equivalent) ensuring real-time accuracy.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate parts delivery and logistics, including:
    • Transporting parts to/from aircraft, hangars, and vendors
    • Shipping and receiving AOG and routine materials
    • Coordinating with couriers and freight providers
  • Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations by expediting parts sourcing, tracking, and delivery.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and shelf-life control of parts, including hazardous materials compliance.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively reorder consumables and critical spares to maintain operational readiness.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and secure parts storage areas in accordance with company standards
  • Assist maintenance personnel with parts identification, research, and sourcing as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with Company General Maintenance Manual (GMM), FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 135), and OSHA and safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control, Planning, and Supply Chain regarding parts status and shortages
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Leadership

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to operate company vehicles for parts transport
