As Seafood Processor, you will be a vital member at one of our Alaskan processing facilities that will be assigned
<\/div>
<\/div>
to various positions in the production department including butchering, sorting, filleting, and case\-up. The
<\/div>
<\/div>
Seafood Processor, you are also required to participate in plant clean\-up and other similar or related duties as
<\/div>
<\/div>
requested or assigned by your department Supervisor or Lead.
<\/div>
<\/div>

Essential Functions/Qualifications

<\/div>
The responsibilities of the position include the following:

\u2022Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and
<\/div>
<\/div>
occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Clean, scrape, trim and fillet products
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Open and remove raw materials and place on belts
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Segregate product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and place product in
<\/div>
<\/div>
containers or on designated conveyors
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Gather, weigh and tally roe baskets
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Discard substandard or defective items and foreign objects
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Pack products in baskets, cans, boxes, barrels, totes or crates for storage or shipment
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Review workspace for cleanliness and safety
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Help clean up the plant
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Always be on time for your shift
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Basic communication with English speakers
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022Read, write, and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers

<\/div>
\u2022Basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10's and 100's

\u2022Perform job operations using the units of measurement, weight, volume, and distance

\u2022Visually identify defects in seafood products.

<\/div>\u2022Working quickly and in teams of processors and other employees while mentally focusing on the job the
