Paid Media Coordinator

Role Purpose

As the Paid Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of David Jones' digital advertising campaigns. You will focus on maximising campaign performance, improving customer engagement, and driving commercial outcomes across digital channels. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure paid media initiatives are optimised to support our business goals and elevate our customer experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own and maintain the paid media reporting ecosystem — ensuring dashboards are live, accurate and accessible to all relevant stakeholders always

  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports across all paid channels, translating raw data into clear, commercially relevant insights that drive action

  • Monitor campaign pacing and budget tracking in real time, proactively flagging anomalies, underspend or performance shifts to the Head of Paid Media

  • Manage all data connector infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted data flows from paid media platforms into reporting environments

  • Support attribution and measurement frameworks by maintaining clean data inputs and contributing to media mix analysis and post-campaign reporting

  • Partner with the paid media team to continuously improve reporting templates, dashboard views and insight presentation to meet evolving business needs

  • Contribute to a data-informed culture by making performance data accessible, understandable and actionable across marketing and commercial stakeholders

  • No direct budget ownership; supports P&L visibility through accurate reporting and pacing data provided to the Head of Paid Media

What you need to thrive

Qualifications & Licences

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)

  • Google Analytics certification (preferred)

  • Looker Studio or equivalent BI tool certification (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience producing performance reports across paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta, DV360) with a strong understanding of platform data structures

  • Proficiency in Looker Studio — building, maintaining and evolving dashboards to meet stakeholder needs

  • Experience managing data connector tools such as Supermetrics to ensure uninterrupted platform data flows

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise narratives that are actionable for non-technical stakeholders

  • High attention to detail in data handling, reporting accuracy and quality assurance of outputs

  • Strong self-management skills — able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal direction

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution concepts and media mix reporting

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including complex formulas and data manipulation

  • Exposure to retail or e-commerce trading environments and an understanding of commercial KPIs and seasonal cycles
