Requirements<\/h3>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/div>- Prepares metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding,\n masking, abrasive blasting (sandblasting) and pre\-treating to remove\n contaminants and ensure adhesion.
<\/li> - Operates electrostatic spray guns, powder booths,\n curing ovens, and related equipment to apply uniform powder coatings or\n liquid paints, monitoring thickness, flow, and cure times.
<\/li> - Inspects finished parts for defects, colour\n accuracy, and compliance with customer specs or ISO standards, performing\n touch\-ups and troubleshooting issues like orange peel or adhesion failure.
<\/li><\/ul>Powder Coating Application<\/b>
<\/p>- Electrostatic Spray:<\/b> Using an electrostatic\n gun to apply dry powder uniformly to grounded metal parts.
<\/li>- Curing:<\/b> Managing oven temperatures and\n "soak times" to ensure the powder melts and cross\-links into a\n hard, durable finish.
<\/li><\/ul>Industrial Liquid Painting<\/b>
<\/p>- Mixing:<\/b> Preparing primers, enamels, or\n polyurethanes by mixing resins, catalysts, and thinners to exact\n specifications.
<\/li>- Spray Techniques:<\/b> Utilizing HVLP (High\n Volume Low Pressure) or airless spray systems to achieve a smooth,\n "orange\-peel" free finish.
<\/li><\/ul>Quality Control & Maintenance<\/b>
<\/p>- Inspection:<\/b> Using Mil\-thickness gauges to\n verify coating depth and performing "cross\-hatch" adhesion\n tests.
<\/li>- Equipment Care:<\/b> Daily cleaning of spray\n guns, booths, and filters to prevent colour contamination.
