Painting Supervisor

  • Supervise and coordinate all residential house painting activities to ensure high-quality finishes and timely project completion.
  • Plan and assign daily tasks to painters and helpers according to project schedules and client requirements.
  • Inspect walls, ceilings, doors, windows, fences, and other surfaces before painting to ensure proper preparation.
  • Oversee surface preparation work, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching cracks, filling holes, and priming.
  • Ensure correct mixing, matching, and application of paints, stains, varnishes, and protective coatings.
  • Monitor painting work to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and arrange touch-ups or corrective work when necessary.
  • Ensure safe use of ladders, scaffolding, tools, and painting equipment.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of paints, brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other materials.
  • Train and guide painting crew members on proper techniques, safety practices, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain daily work progress reports and communicate project status to management.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and protected from paint spills or damage.
  • Verify that completed painting work meets company standards before final handover to the client.
