Paralegal

Job Description

· Provide end-to-end paralegal support to the Corporate and Arbitration/Dispute Resolution teams.

· Act as the primary liaison for Chinese-invested clients, handling Chinese-language communications, document coordination, and KYC processes for cross-border matters.

· Support business development initiatives, including the preparation of bilingual pitch and tender materials, coordination of client events, and maintenance of client relationships.

· Conduct legal research and assist with the drafting, review, filing, and management of legal documents.

· Support due diligence exercises, case file administration, and monitoring of key deadlines.

· Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to facilitate the efficient delivery of legal services.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in law or related disciplines.

· Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience is preferred.

· Solid legal research and document drafting skills, with basic understanding of cross-border legal business.

· Strong command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese clients and stakeholders.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for legal and BD material preparation.

· Meticulous, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced cross-border work environment.

· Strict confidentiality awareness, proactive work attitude and good team spirit.

· Prior experience in international law firms, client liaison or BD assistance is a plus.
