Part-Time, Seasonal Laundry Attendant

Pine Canyon, located in Flagstaff, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time, Seasonal Laundry Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Laundry Processing:
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Use industrial washers and dryers, ensuring proper settings for various types of fabric.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Inventory Management:
• Keep track of laundry inventory, ensuring proper levels of clean linens and supplies.
• Report any damages, stains, or missing items to the supervisor.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or other issues, and ensure proper treatment or repairs.
• Ensure laundry meets the cleanliness and quality standards of the facility.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
• Notify the supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Customer Service:
• If working in Cabins or similar setting, interact with guests to provide extra linens, or other departments.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including safe handling of chemicals and detergents.
• Ensure all laundry items are properly sanitized, especially in healthcare settings.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work as part of the housekeeping or cabin team to ensure timely turnaround of clean laundry.
• Assist with special cleaning or laundry requests as needed.
• Assist with stripping cabins when needed and picking up linen at camp and cabins

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in laundry services or similar roles (preferred).
• Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
• Attention to detail for quality control and sorting laundry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy loads for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds.
• Standing for long periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, and reach to load and unload laundry.
