As the Partner CTO, Enterprise Partner Solutions - Japan, you will join the Enterprise Partner Solutions, Asia team at the forefront of AI-driven transformation across one of the world’s most dynamic partner markets. Responsibilities
- Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring for the Enterprise Partner Solutions technical team—defining team objectives, enabling success, and investing in the growth of others.
- Support and coach the team on innovative approaches for identifying and translating partner aspirations into Microsoft solution strategies, influencing decision-makers, and accelerating adoption of Microsoft technologies.
- Lead the team in proactively identifying and closing technology and business challenges to drive improvements to our partners' products, methodologies, and solutions at scale.
- Drive the team to deliver operational excellence and apply proven practices with our partners through all stages of solution design, early select customers implementation, and delivery, ensuring partner success at scale.
- Serve as a role model for strategic consulting—actively engaging with partners to shape technology choices, requirements, drive business and technical value, and foster trust-based partnerships across C-level stakeholders, especially with our partners' CTOs/Tech Leaders.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 10+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, technical architect managers, and/or people managers.
- Language fluency both in Japanese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 15+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 8+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
- 8+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, technical architect managers, and/or people managers.
